SPOILER ALERT – Only read this if you have finished the book already!

For all those of you who wonder why this book ended the way it ended.

Once I had started writing the scene I have had in my head forever (see previous blog), so many ideas popped up – for when Joe and D first met, for after Liz and D clash in Sarah’s kitchen, for this and that. Soon I had too much for just one book and way more than I thought I could handle – and still a lot of loose ends. The project was starting to grow over my head.
So, even though it hurt, I decided to make a cut. Finish book 1 and then deal with the rest. It was either that or take out scenes (which I absolutely didn’t want to).
But the second part is coming and this time we’ll all get our happy ending!
